Random Event Opt Out

Thank you all again for allowing us to observe Moderator Rest Day. We had a lovely day off and nothing exploded. Hooray!
This is just a quick opt-out for our second wave of random events coming out next weekend. In the event that you won't really be available to participate, are uncomfortable with the content for any reason, or just don't want to be selected. Comments are screened in the event that someone might feel singled out by opting out publicly. This will allow you to just inform the mods and no one else that you'd like to opt out.
Next Saturday, we will be launching Random Event Wave 2 - The Pumpkin Hollow Shuffle. For this event we will be using a random number generator to select a handful of characters to be afflicted with a dancing plague that causes them to dance uncontrollably until incapacitated or broken from their trance. This will effectively obligate those chosen to do some kind of thread on this event, and may result in death for characters involved. It'll be a little bit like that one scene from Midsommar but more compulsory. It should be fun to play from both a horror and a comedy angle depending upon your preference, but we understand it might not be everyone's cup of tea!
If you would like to opt out, please let us know here! Conversely, characters who have not been active in a while should opt in, to let us know that they're back and would like to get involved. The deadline is Friday, August 25th.
