Character Cap Change/Removal Proposal

So we're doing a poll on our Discord about this, but we wanted to open the conversation to the community more broadly: in light of some various plot things and a general discussion about the game, a proposal was made to either raise the character cap to 6 or eliminate the character cap (in the latter case the "cap" would just be however many characters you feel you could reasonably maintain) which was received favorably by those present.
Does anyone have any strong feelings about how this should be handled, preferences on which option, or a hard opinion against it? Because if not, we may just go ahead and do this! Let us know!
