Sam Porter is gonna be a Marrow Isle native, a bogstandard human, with an 8 year old daughter named Louise, and both of them are Sensitives. Specifically, sensitive to undead and ghostly things. Sam specifically has an allergic reaction that makes his eyes water, and he can sense such things coming, while Lou can see them and communicate directly. Sam is Feytouched, cursed by an incident when he was an infant, which causes terrible things to happen when he ends up dying in some way in the normal course of his duties. Usually this means explosions, like a collision of matter and antimatter. (There may in fact be a crater somewhere on the island from that kind of incident.)

Sam has been a mail carrier for the island for about a decade now. Sort of carries the whole workforce on his back. Perhaps you are someone on his regular route, someone new that's setting up to add a spot to his route, or you've seen his daughter somewhere around town! Would you like to be a regular babysitter of a little hellion?
