Max is EXACTLY the dude for banter and also a teenager. He has sort of a ghost-demon thing going on and can absolutely handle magic and I think it'd be a pretty even match! He's very much an asshole and a huge pain in the butt so there's that to deal with but I think it could genuinely go either way which is fun :)
