Guest Villain Claim

Guest Villain Claim

For our 2024 Halloween Special, we'll be featuring an event themed around Demon Prince Aster that will involve a "Most Dangerous Game"-esque prompt where PCs will be assigned a "hunter" of Aster's choosing to chase and attempt to kill them. While some NPCs will be available for this role, we wanted to give players the opportunity to offer up their own nasties to do some spooky Halloween murder!

Each player can claim a single villainous character fit for the job to guest-star at Aster's behest. This character will need an independent journal, will need to be appropriately skilled at and enthusiastic about the task at hand, and will only be permitted to participate in this one specific event in October unless otherwise stated. (Note: they can hang out at the rest of the event if desired!) They will be arriving on the island via Aster as opposed to Mortanne. Any threads that qualify for AC bonus with a guest villain can be distributed to a permanent player character during Activity Check for the month of October ONLY.

If you're interested, please submit an application below! It's an abridged version of our normal application. All guest villain applications are due October 25th so please get them in as soon as you can! We're excited to see who makes an appearance! In the meantime, please check out our special Villain's Lounge TDM to test drive your baddies.

Max Jagerman | Nerdy Prudes Must Die (Starkid Productions)

Player

Player Name: Rose
Other Characters (if any): Zelda, Gerry, Mairi, Sally, Carver

Character

Character Name: Max Jagerman
Character Age: Not stated--- presumably 17 or 18
Canon: "Nerdy Prudes Must Die" by Starkid Productions
Canon Point: End of the show
• ────────── •
Overview: Max's Wiki! Max is an exaggerated satire of the typical high school bully and jock, all souped up with the power of an evil curse and a thirst for vengeance. He was accidentally fatally wounded by a group of nerds trying to prank him to get back at him for his bullying, and then returned as a powerful and violent undead creature whose primary goal is to eliminate nerds from existence. He's not ashamed to gruesomely kill anyone who gets in his way, though, regardless of perceived dorkiness. The only thing more motivating to him than murder, apparently, is girls. He also notably has a significant god complex.
Modus Operandi: He's capable of levitating people and it is implied he's clawed and can create deep lacerations with only his hands. He tends to rely heavily on brute force and will often use more gruesome versions of stereotypical bullying tactics to kill. (ex. swirly-ing someone until they drown, bisecting someone with an atomic wedgie) Additionally, he has apparent super strength and speed, and is relentlessly single-minded.
Weaknesses: Cute girls his age could, in theory, distract him from the task at hand, and he's self-conscious about appearing weak because of his father. Ironically, he is frightened of ghosts and skeletons.
Preferred Victim: Because of the sensitive nature of bullying, I imagine some players may want to opt out of interacting with Max, which is totally fine! I feel he'd be most enthusiastic paired with a character who he perceives as a dweeb but that's not a necessity! I also would prefer someone relatively close to him in age if possible.

Character

Character Name: David Xanatos
Character Age: late 30s
Canon: Gargoyles
Canon Point: Mid-Season 2 (prior to S2 E44, "The Gathering")
• ────────── •
Overview: Wiki page (Also, just for kicks, the Trope Namer page from TVTropes's Xanatos Gambit)
Modus Operandi: By preference, Xanatos fights using a powered exosuit designed after the shape of a gargoyle, outfitted with projectile and beam weapons; he will manage quite nicely with a steampunk'd version thereof. He is also proficient with handheld firearms and in unarmed combat. He is physically fit and a master strategist.
Weaknesses: While skilled, he is still a baseline human and his weaknesses are those of any such. Further, if his suit can be disabled while he's wearing it, he will be seriously disadvantaged by its deadweight.
Preferred Victim: No preference on my end, but Xanatos would be eager to pit himself against anyone particularly physically powerful, especially if they are of a species he hasn't fought before. Ideally no magic-users.

Player

Player Name: constellation
Other Characters (if any): Okami Amaterasu, Ryja Featherfists, Vespertine

Character

Character Name: Itazura Unmei
Character Age: 23
Canon: Final Fantasy XIV
Canon Point: Pulled from just after another devious life ruining plot has been interrupted by Eorzea's frustrating amount of heroes.
• ────────── •
Overview: Itazura Unmei is terrible, horrible, awful person, who was born with a condition and talent which marked him as a healer, someone who would give of his own lifeforce to heal all in need, (preferably the wealthy and powerful.) He decided this was bullshit and made sure to exploit his ability to its utmost, until eventually he was kicked out for his constant awful and abusive behavior.
Modus Operandi: Itazura is a blood mage, a would be healer who's turned his talent for the manipulation of life energy into the theft and exploitation of it. He absolutely loves to fuck with people and if he gets access to someone's blood he can find them unerringly. He weaponizes his own blood, and has a lot of endurance. He's not the fastest, or the strongest, but he's a deceptively dangerous opponent up close, with his claws.
He's also going to try and psychologically torment his prey, as is his nature. He's pretty good at cold reading people and working out how they've been hurt and how to hurt them more.
Weaknesses: Itazura is very much the type to play with his food, and he's supremely, incredibly arrogant. If his victim gets their wits about them and lays a trap for him he's liable to fall for it, but only if he thinks he's winning to begin with. Elsewise, he's not the strongest, and if his magic can be exhausted he's unlikely to be able to put up a lethal fight.
Preferred Victim: Itazura prefers a victim with a lot of trauma for him to exploit, because he's the absolute worse.
Bonus Fact: Itazura Unmei roughly implies he's a bad fortune come to fuck up your life. He chose it on purpose!

Hol Horse || JoJo's Bizarre Adventure

[personal profile] emperorcard 2024-07-05 06:11 am (UTC)(link)

Player

Player Name: Sentis
Other Characters (if any): Don Quixote

Character

Character Name: Hol Horse
Character Age: mid 30s
Canon: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure
Canon Point: Post Stardust Crusaders
• ────────── •
Overview: Wiki. A hitman hired by the vampire Dio Brando to kill the Stardust Crusaders. He possesses the Stand, The Emperor, a gun he is able to summon that is able to curve its bullets midair. A stand is only able to be seen by someone who also possesses one, or the ability to see spirits, and can only be harmed by another stand. Essentially, this means that he has an invisible, indestructible gun with unlimited bullets he can control at will. He'd fought against the Crusaders twice, the first with a man named J. Geil who possessed the ability to attack people through reflections, and the second with a boy named Boingo, who possessed a comic book that'd tell vague predictions of the future. Despite being defeated both times, he always managed to narrowly escape death and run away. His motto is that he's always "Number Two" rather than Number One, preferring to fight alongside allies whenever he has to fight someone.
Modus Operandi: Hol Horse's fighting style is fairly simple, he has an invisible magic gun that can curve its bullets midair. He could simply hide from whoever he's fighting and shoot at them from the shadows, but truthfully, he's more than willing to reveal himself to anyone who he thinks he can take on easily. Though, he sure as hell will run away the moment things go south and is willing to resort to dirty tactics to win if he feels outmatched.
Weaknesses: He is very reluctant to fight one versus one in a fair fight. Hol Horse is cowardly to his core, he'd chicken out the moment that he knows he's as good as dead. Considering himself the world's nicest man to women, he'd also never dare to attack a woman willingly and would only harm them if it was the difference between life or death. His gun is also a Stand, meaning that it possesses a limited range on its bullets, meaning that he has to get up somewhat close to shoot at someone and can't just snipe someone from afar. It also isn't a silent weapon either, meaning that someone could easily pinpoint him from the sound alone, and he's only human in the end.
Preferred Victim: A wild west showdown would be pretty cool for any other fellow gunslingers of sorts who show up. He'd naturally prefer to fight anyone who "seems" to be unable to beat him, though he'd object to willingly going against women either. Anyone able to see his Stand in the first place would also be a good match, considering it's a literal ghost gun that's able to curve shots midair and that's not exactly fair to most.

Other Characters (if any): Music, Venom, Okie

Character

Character Name: Acrid
Character Age: Unknown
Canon: Risk of Rain
Canon Point: Risk of Rain 2
• ────────── •
Overview: Here and here
Modus Operandi: Acrid has sharp, needle-like claws and teeth capable of delivering potent and deadly poisons, acids, and diseases, as well as "immense strength and resilience." It is considered a living and dangerous biohazard.
Weaknesses: Magic, probably. It doesn't really have any particular resistance to physical damage, either, but it'd take a lot to bring it down
Preferred Victim: Someone comparably primal or brutal, or maybe someone that can resist all the nasty gunk it spits

Player

Player Name: Kalineh
Other Characters (if any): Valdis

Character

Character Name: Fenrir
Character Age: Unknown, ancient
Canon: Original (Swallowing the Sun)
Canon Point: Upon being released from Cadair Idris
• ────────── •
Overview: Fenrir was once an Angel of Death named Menahem. Disgruntled with the system and desiring more power, he sought a way to enhance his ability and build a new race. He came upon Tiamat, a destroyed Goddess of destruction who whispered to him from the Void, and sought out an archdemon to help him in his goals. Together they created the Hellhounds and he set about trying to unite Heaven and Hell under one ruler, but without souls, he discovered he could not enter either. He turned his fury on the earth. Eventually he lost a fight and retreated into his lair, where he was sealed by Valdis with a Divine Blade.
Modus Operandi: Fenrir fights with a scythe or as a giant Hellhound. He likes to play with his prey, taunting them and tracking them, letting them stay just out of reach until he grows bored enough to kill them. He likes tasting the fear, regrets and sorrows of his victims. He is difficult to kill as he has a magical healing factor, but a fatal blow will be still be fatal. He does have death magic, but prefers to cover his hands with blood so it should not be a factor unless the other player is interested in it. He can present as sympathetic but this is a manipulation tactic.
Weaknesses: Pride. Fenrir believes he is invincible and will sometimes play too much, giving any victim a potential advantage if they can get him to underestimate them, which is generally easy due to his immense sense of superiority.
Preferred Victim: Fenrir would prefer someone who was soft and not much of a fighter, someone he could torment and hunt and ruin so he could feed on their despair, but someone who was a bit of a challenge would be preferred by me. (Because he could use some humbling)(If Mira is amiable, Fever might be a good match based on past CR)

Character Name: Julia Montauk & Trevor Herbert
Character Age: 36ish and 75
Canon: The Magnus Archives
Canon Point: When Daisy kills her at the end of Season 4 & when Basira kills him during Season 5
• ────────── •
Overview: Julia: Wiki. Daughter of a serial killer who decided to be a serial killer about it. A monster who spends all her time hunting other monsters and feels justified in doing so. Used Gerry like a D&D monster manual.
Trevor: Wiki. An old man who's lived on the streets for basically his entire life and a self-declared vampire hunter, who later branched out to more monsters and the occasional human. Basically Julia's new dad. Also used Gerry like a D&D monster manual.
Modus Operandi: Like other Hunters Julia and Trevor are nigh upon impossible to keep down thanks to supernatural strength/speed/senses and near-instant healing, generally being designed to Get You. They Hunt together, sometimes via tricks and ambushes, sometimes more straightforwardly. They'll use knives, guns, and also just her hands/teeth to fuck people up after a good chase.
Weaknesses: They're not immune to anything that can kill instantly and they're especially not immune to any kind of magic/supernatural power. Julia is comparatively inexperienced, making her overconfident, and Trevor isn't as spry as he used to be as his age catches up with him more readily than it does others of his type. They are also each other's biggest weakness: manage to seriously hurt one, and the other will become distracted.
Preferred Victim: They'd jump at the chance to go after the other TMAs, but otherwise anyone that will give her a run for her money / the kinds of people they'd usually call a monster that needs to be put down.

Player Name: Kai

Character

Character Name: Jack Spicer
Character Age: 18
Canon: Xiaolin Showdown
Canon Point: Post series
• ────────── •
Overview: wiki link Jack tends to come across as an idiot, and he is, but he's also actually a genius when it comes to his special interests, most notably robotics and engineering. He hypes himself up about as much as he deprecates himself, and it doesn't take a lot of digging to uncover massive heaps of insecurity and loneliness. He's a rude, spoiled little brat who wants very badly to be liked, but also wants everyone to see and respect what an evil genius he is. He's a sore loser and an even worse winner, as well as a huge coward with no moral backbone to speak of. When it comes down to the wire, he will play to the winning team, no matter who it is.
Modus Operandi: Jack has no superhuman abilities (other than incredible resilience to injury due to being a punching bag villain in a cartoon for children), but he does have ROBOTS. Even if they are steampunk-ified, that just means less laser beams and more rotary saws. He could also come with some Wu, I was thinking definitely the Monkey Staff (his signature, and will def help him maneuver and hunt in a forest environment). Maybe one more? There are so many possibilities, it could be tailored more towards whoever he gets paired with to try and make it a more even match?
Weaknesses: Jack is a coward, and tends to crumple under threat of physical violence. Especially if they can get the Wu away from him, it's pretty much over.
Preferred Victim: Someone who won't completely knock him out of the game in ten seconds flat? Jack prefers to stack his odds however he can, he's a dirty cheat that way. If he can go after someone who would refuse to sink to his level he will (this also makes it easier for him to beg for mercy if they do manage to completely disarm him).

Character

Character Name: Chase Collins
Character Age: 18
Canon: The Covenant
Canon Point: end of the movie
• ────────── •
Overview: sweet, a wiki
Modus Operandi: He likes to brutalize people with magic, usually by slamming them around or throwing stuff at them. He also enjoys conjuring spiders to bite and induce anaphylactic shock! And using glamour to fuck with people! And teleporting around like a jackass. His magic is extremely versatile and powerful, and is capable of wreaking all kinds of havoc, which makes him a pretty adaptable antagonist-- however, he tends to wield his magic like a blunt force weapon.
Weaknesses: Chase is a dumb teenager. He can be impulsive and temperamental, and he's easily distracted by his love of gloating and making stupid puns. When he gets angry, he gets sloppy. And although he's clever and capable of planning and strategizing to a degree, he doesn't really think things through beyond "and then I hit him with magic until I get what I want." Though he isn't easy to beat in a head to head magical throwdown, he is easy to outsmart. Chase is primarily driven by addiction, fear, and anger, and it's pretty easy for an insightful type to suss that out and use that to their advantage.

Also: hot guys. Also, again: he is an idiot.

Preferred Victim: he's always fun to throw against heroic types. The bigger the boy scout, the better. (This is also his preferred boyfriend material, oops.) Somebody durable enough to take some magical punches, but clever enough to outsmart him, would work well. Also, if you just want your character to get taken out in entertaining ways by a super annoying teenager, Chase will happily oblige.

Character Name: The Butcher (Dennis Collins)
Character Age: Approximate age somewhere in late 40s-early 50's
Canon: Malevolent
Canon Point: Post death in the season finale episode 40.2
• ────────── •
Overview: Link to Wiki: Malevolent spoilers
Modus Operandi: He used to do his kills with piano wire as his calling card but in his more recent years he'll take any method that works. He's exceptionally skilled as a marksman, talented trap maker, and very good with bladed weapons as well. But in his hand a hammer is just as effective. He also has a lot of skill in torturing people.
Weaknesses: He's only human. He's clever, feels no remorse, but he's still just a man. Picking at his ego may or may not work. Getting him to view you as a peer or someone like him (someone he likes) won't get him to spare you but it might make him more inclined to finish things up close and personal which gives his victims more chances to get the upper hand. He doesn't have any supernatural powers.
Preferred Victim:He likes people who are driven and fierce, who will fight for their life with all they have, because it makes them more fun to chase. Extra credit for witty banter or clever ploys. He likes a worthy opponent.

Character

Character Name: Brooke Augustine
Character Age: Late 30s
Canon: InFamous: Second Son
Canon Point: Postgame
• ────────── •
Overview: Wiki. Cold and calculating, but with a wry and sometimes cruel sense of humor, Brooke Augustine leads the Department of Unified Protection in its crusade to round up all superpowered individuals and keep them safely under lock and key in the concrete fortress she constructed herself. Willing to do anything to keep control of a situation.
Modus Operandi: Augustine is what's called a conduit, or a person with superpowers including enhanced durability, strength, and the ability to manipulate a specific kind of material or energy. Her weapon of choice is concrete - think Earthbending from Avatar: The Last Airbender. Able to tear up streets and pull down bridges and construct massive fortresses with ease, she makes for a formidable opponent, armoring herself in stone and hurling lances of jagged pavement across city blocks.
Weaknesses: Ooooof course that's if she can find enough concrete to do any of that. Out in the woods as opposed to in an urban setting she may be at more of a disadvantage - though she still has the ability to shrug off a bullet or two if need be. EDIT: Wait I didn't read the "predator chooses the playing field" part. Yeah she's gonna have a lot of concrete at her disposal. Okay so her main thing is she's, well, a videogame final boss. She's extremely powerful and tends to play defensively, but when launching big attacks she can be vulnerable for a second or two, usually because she's thrown the concrete she was using as armor at your head. She also tends to move around the battlefield by ripping up a chunk of the floor and riding it around like a hoverboard - knock her out of midair and she'll be stunned for a bit.
Preferred Victim: I'd like to see an even or even-ish match for her! Either a normal human up for a considerable challenge for whatever hopefully formidable combat skill they have, or a superpowered individual who can take as good as they get. EDIT: Yeah so you're gonna want to be pretty cracked at combat to go toe to toe with Augustine. Advantage goes to people who are pretty agile and good at ranged combat, but if you're really really durable you can get away with being neither of those things.

Canon Point: s2e6
• ────────── •
Overview: Legendary pirate captain who has recently had his streak of raids beaten by Blackbeard. Cheerfully tortures people and may eat them. A bit of a musician. Deranged. Just a fucked up little guy.
Modus Operandi: Ned is a persistence hunter, tracking his foe across the sea, and then, on land, until they tire. Then watch out! He ties them up and tortures them with whatever's at hand. Branding irons, flensing knives...he's creative.
Weaknesses: Ned's got a bit of an ego. He's shocked if he thinks someone he's "better than" can get the upper hand, but he'll still go to his death poking and prodding at their weaknesses.
Preferred Victim: Someone who's clever (providing a challenge) and good at withstanding torture. It's no fun if they die on him too quickly!

Character Name: King Oberon
Character Age: ageless (adult)
Canon: Folklore
Canon Point: /shrug, but A Midsummer Night's Dream has already been written
• ────────── •
Overview: The mighty and capricious King of the Faeries, everlasting and ancient as the former jungles of Ireland, thing of dreams and promises, a veritable force of nature, keeper of hawthorn. His form has changed over the eons as belief about him and his people has shifted, but always they have been tricky and strange things that reside beyond the veil. He is disdainful towards the mortal realm and extremely rarely consorts with it; his vassal and errand-boy, Puck, is far more "real" than he is, and so does his bidding there in his stead. He's had occasional marital spats with his wife, Titania the Queen of the Faeries, which has caused not a small amount of environmental havoc on the world. Wiki page is here

Modus Operandi: The Wild Hunt. However, Oberon is something of a stationary hunter; he works in tandem with Puck [to be played by Ros] from afar, who drags their prey back to him, so it will be a dual hunt. Him and Puck and their weirdo fey hunting dogs will work together to pull any number of tricks to disable or ensnare their prey; for example, the closer their hunting horn sounds, the further away they are, and the further away it sounds, the closer they are. He has a multitude of abilities, but generally he has incredible manipulative power over all things close to the natural world, including and especially weather. As an essentially "unreal" entity with immense power, he has sway over the fabric of reality as it bends in towards him, affecting things such as the material makeup of the world around him for quite a long distance. But there are limits. Think octopi; they can change color and even texture, and their tentacles can bend and flex and ensnare, but they have no more to work with than what is already there. With this he can aid Puck from a far distance, able to sense prey via the mycelium that binds every living and dead thing in the forest. He can also bind people to promises and contracts, even if they're not aware they've made them; never say thank you to a fey. He has a habit of snatching people's souls out of their bodies. Ordinarily to abduct them, but here he might just eat it.

Weaknesses: Many folkloric tricks will work against them, such as cold iron, salt, holly, yarrow, and being unable to cross running water. However, they will be far more effective against Puck than Oberon. Thankfully Oberon is mostly stationary. Oberon and Puck are also prone to bickering, which can absolutely be used against them, especially to slow them down.
Preferred Victim: Someone who has some folkloric know-how to use against them, preferably, but not a deal-breaker! Bonus points if they're annoying. See Ros' for more detail.

Player Name: Bash
Other Characters (if any): Darcy + Hawkeye

Character

Character Name: Puck/Robin Goodfellow
Character Age: Ageless but adult by all reasonable metrics
Canon: Folkloric but inspired heavily by A Midsummer Night's Dream
Canon Point: N/A
• ────────── •
Overview: The mischevious attendant to Lord Oberon, Puck/Robin Goodfellow is a True Fae of some power. He is easily amused and distractable, but also nimble and clever, and endlessly curious about mankind and their strange ways. Look we all read A Midsummer Nights Dream in high school you get the idea.
Modus Operandi: Puck fights in tandem with Lord Oberon [to be played by Guil], and while weaker in many regards, he makes up for it in trickery. He will bait potential victims through appearing as inanimate objects, animals, or people, trying to pixie-lead them into becoming lost and despairing. This shapeshifting is his primary ability, and while he is capable of maintaining his disguises very well, he is not infallable in this art, and careful observation can reveal the unnaturalness of his forms. Puck also possesses supernatural speed, which I will be choosing to play essentially like cartoon hammer-space, being able to appear as if he were waiting in the wings out of view. If pressed into direct combat, he will have whatever natural animal weaponry he thinks to shapeshift into, such as claws or fangs.
Weaknesses: Puck is a folkloric fae and thus possesses the weaknesses that fae are said to possess. In full; he is immensely vulnerable to iron, salt, holly, yarrow, and St-John’s-wart. He can be forced to count small objects, like grains of sand or eggshells in large enough quantities, and his pixie-leading can be prevented if his victim turns their clothes inside out. Failing any of these, his petty and mischevious nature can be turned back towards Oberon with some convincing and effort, which majorly disrupts both of their hunting efforts. Working out his name can also give the victim a temporary advantage over Puck, as he will be briefly upset that they were able to successfully guess it.
Preferred Victim:Folkloric knowledge or otherwise experience with fae are very very heavily suggested, but not necessarily required, to stand a chance of outfoxing Puck and Oberon. A character that is good-hearted or trusting would also be fun, as they would stand a better chance of being manipulated by Puck’s tactics. While a character who fights in very physical ways is not off the table, a character who will primarily be evading or otherwise not trying to pick a physical fight would be preferred, as to better mesh with the general pursuit vibe going on here.

Overview: Wiki link. It is a goose. It lives in a charming English village. It likes bells and chaos.
Modus Operandi: Stealth mechanics: Hiding, honking, theft. Please give it a knife so that it can stab and truly revel in the violence it craves. It cannot be contained or stopped.
Weaknesses: It's a totally mundane goose.
Preferred Victim: anyone who wants this bullshit I guess lmao

Character Name: Allyin Kailius
Character Age: 23
Canon: DnD Original Character
Canon Point: N/A

Overview: Allyin is a terrible person who uses his trauma as an excuse to be awful. He lost his mom at a young age and didn't fit into drow society as a transgender boy considering drow society practically idolizes womanhood. He managed to run away from Menzoberranzan but was found by a dwarf scouting group. Because of Allyin's unique half drow half tiefling heritage, they simply assumed he was a lost tiefling, and were entirely ignorant to his drow heritage. He was taken in by a dwarf family after living in an orphanage for a time but his dwarven father was neglectful and distant, and that distance became even more exaggerated as Allyin began transitioning to male on a societal level. At sixteen he ran away from home, becoming intertwined with the gangs in the area, who he forced with violence to either respect or fear him. This is also around the time he found religion with a local chaos goddess who revels in destruction of self and others. At eighteen he felt a calling from an artifact and left altogether, seeking power enough to destroy or conquer both dwarvenkind and drows alike. Finding the artifact is how he formed his warlock pact. Since then he's been gathering followers and plotting as well as growing in strength.

Also worth mentioning he is a very sexual person, he will flirt, even if he is about to do a murder. It's practically second nature to him... nothing that would cross into banned territory though he is a bad person but he is not that kinda bad person.
Modus Operandi: Allyin is a dnd 5e paladin lvl 4 warlock lvl 1 and I think level 5 is a good level to be at to be like, not horribly overpowered but still being able to have some fun with magic. If wanted you can view his current character sheet but basically he'll fight with a long sword and some warlock abilities with a longbow for specific long distance instances. Long sword is his preference though. I'm assuming for this any of his healing would be too much of an advantage so I'm going to assume he just isn't able to.
Weaknesses: He's arrogant and emotional. Playing to these could give anyone a big advantage. He also wears big heavy armor so anyone who's stealthy and small could have a significant advantage as well.
Preferred Victim: He hates both drows and dwarves. But honestly he's willing to kill pretty much anyone except for children and sex workers. Actually, willing is the wrong word, passionate about murder would be a better description.

Also anyone who is uncomfortable with him/would wanna opt out please please feel free.

• ────────── •
Overview: Wiki entry. Undead Marie Antoinette caught in a neverending death game. At times haughty, at times completely naive, and abiding by her own version of reality.
Modus Operandi: Mary is a swift and dedicated pursuer, whose strengths are in her ability to chase others and quickly move about the space. Her greatest asset is her Aqua Mirror, which allows her to summon a ghostly duplicate of herself to mirror her actions towards her prey. Ghost or not, the wounds it inflicts are real, and the longer the fight goes on, the stronger she can become, up to creating duplicates of her prey that can be struck down for real damage. She can also swap places with her mirror once per use.
Weaknesses: There is an audible sound when she is summoning her mirror, to inform her prey of the ability being used. She is also vulnerable in her main body to being outpaced, particularly in tighter confines. Her mirror has a time limit before she must recast, and it cannot think independently. Personality wise, she's too full of herself, and vulnerable to deception - she may even hesitate to properly strike someone down if she believes they are showing deference. Lastly, she's a melee fighter, so someone who can strike at range would have an easier time.
Preferred Victim: Someone trickier, who'll lean more toward deceit and bamboozlement instead of out and out physical force. She'd prefer someone strictly human and vulnerable, but you can't always get what you want ♥

Character Name: Nikola Orsinov
Character Age: That's a good question. Both several hundred years old and 10ish. Depends on when you count as the start of her existence. Let's just say ageless?
Canon: The Magnus Archives
Canon Point: Directly post-Unknowing
• ────────── •
Overview: Wiki contains major spoilers! Nikola is a creature of the Stranger created by the ringmaster of a terrible and uncanny Russian circus, Gregor Orsinov. She is made of mannequin pieces, doll parts, and bits of various humans including the Victorian clown Joseph Grimaldi. Her main ambition is to complete a ritual that creates a new world in which nothing is what its meant to be and identity is incomprehensible. She has a jovial, flippant demeanor that hides a rather violent temper.
Modus Operandi: Aside from using her powers of the Stranger, the fear of the uncanny, to disorient and confuse, she also has blades concealed in her fingertips that she uses to remove the skin of her victims to turn into costumes. She also carries a whip!
Weaknesses: It's unclear from canon what her exact weaknesses are. While it's challenging to physically damage her, it's not impossible to destroy her, notably with things like fire or heavy impact (think a collapsing building). She's also not a fan of being perceived too deeply, which can disorient or distract her.
Preferred Victim: Honestly anyone. I'm down to clown. (Pun intended.)

Character Name: FUTURE
Character Age: Unknown
Canon: SAYER
Canon Point: After season 4 episode 13, when OCEAN traps it in the MRI machine
• ────────── •
Overview: https://sayer.fandom.com/wiki/FUTURE
Modus Operandi: FUTURE is highly adept at hacking into and taking over other computer and communications systems. It most often uses this ability to make contact with people and manipulate them into sadistic situations for its own entertainment, often by impersonating trusted or authority figures (which it is also very good at.) In its own environment, Floor 13 of Halcyon Tower, it has absolute control over the architecture and can warp the place into a constantly shifting death maze. It also possesses a nanite swarm that it can use to take over and control organic bodies, most often as puppets in its 'games' rather than to kill them directly.
Weaknesses: FUTURE is extremely petty and can become easily enraged into immature tantrums, making it ironically fairly easy to manipulate by those adept enough. It's also desperate for entertainment and will jump at the chance to participate in any activity posed to it as a game, although will definitely not play fair and may not remain engaged if the game bores it. Physically, its nanite swarm form is vulnerable to strong magnetism, which can hold it immobilized and, after enough exposure, wipe its code; it can also be deactivated by a skilled enough hacker with direct access to it.
Preferred Victim: It would probably be most entertained by victims that remind it of its creators - scientists, teachers, or anyone with a certain level of arrogance. Failing that it will get a lot out of anyone with an entertaining reaction to pain, it's not picky.

Character Name: Spamton G. Spamton
Character Age: Old enough to own and operate a car dealership, I guess?
Canon: Deltarune (Chapter 2)
Canon Point: Post Secret Bossfight
• ────────── •
Overview: [[Hyperlink Blocked]]
Modus Operandi: SHOOTS YOU WITH HIS BIG SHOT
Spamton, first and foremost, operates on a sort of "rule of absurd," manifesting strange projectiles and corruptions of terrain, as though it were a digital space. He contains several various compartments on his "new form," several of which bear his own face. He also has the capacity to fire shots (clumsily) from his arm-cannon, and will occasionally rush opponents, seemingly dragged along by marionette strings. All of his attacks seem to do negligible damage to the body, instead targeting his opponent's soul or equivalent.
Weaknesses: Disorganized and easily distractable, Spamton's size is largely for show. He can take a great deal of hits, but someone with enough resilience can easily overpower him. Cutting the marionette's strings that reach up into the seemingly endless void of sky is no simple feat, but doing so will render him entirely immobilized. Additionally, he cannot resist the call of a deal, no matter how absurd; strike up a bargain, and there's every chance that he'll simply call off the fight right then and there.
Preferred Victim: Someone willing to tolerate a healthy degree of nonsense, as easily frustrated prey will just have an absolutely miserable time of things.

Character

Character Name: Leshy
Character Age: N/A - Adult
Canon: Inscryption
Canon Point: End of game
• ────────── •
Overview: 🌲
Modus Operandi: A game of cards, no more, no less. He will play a round of Inscryption with his opponent, holding no reservations nor allowing time for a tutorial. Should he win, his tool, a nature camera, will be used to capture a Death Card of his opponent, ripping their life force from them and containing it within a custom-created card. (He will provide this card to his opponent upon their return to life; he has no need to keep these trophies, as he's merely here for the joy of the game.)

If the card game is declined, he will find a "new means" to play it, by primarily focusing on abilities as a summoner of woodland creatures and strange monsters. This is not ideal, however.
Weaknesses: Pure strategy. He's not a sore loser, and will accept his defeat and subsequent death at the hands of whoever faces him.
Preferred Victim: Someone with an appreciation for a good narrative.

[OOC: For the card game, I'll be using the Inscryption Multiplayer fangame! Additionally, if Leshy wins, I'll be doing pixel art for a custom death card as a fun little momento for playing along with my unusual system for my villain. :) Please get in touch with me via Discord (socksmuggler) or PM this journal if interested!]
